Unfortunately, Mr. Cox has not told the full story. In the previous year when this fine contest of Spades was undertaken, Mr. Hale and I thoroughly dominate the first game. Then as any gentelmen would do, allowed Mr. Cox and his teammate to have 'another chance' in a best 2 out of 3. Once again, we dominated that game to clearly take the match. This year, Mr. Cox and his teammate after squeeking out a victory in game 1 ran off and did extend the same sportsmanlike gesture. So to Mr. Cox, congratulations on a partial win. A simple illustration: Tiger Woods would never claim victory after one round of golf in a tournament.
Last year we only played ONE round (and yes, we lost). The previous year from that, we dominated.
